Working with Capital Providers
Our Role in Capital Relationships
SMCC is a capital advisory and qualification firm. We do not operate as a broker, lead generator, or transaction pusher. Our role is to prepare, qualify, and filter companies before they ever reach a capital provider. We work with a limited number of aligned capital partners and prioritize fit, structure, and readiness over volume. Avoid persuasive language. This should read as operational fact.
How We Protect Capital Providers
Capital providers do not need more deal flow. They need better-prepared opportunities. SMCC absorbs early-stage friction by qualifying companies, aligning expectations, and ensuring that only structurally appropriate opportunities advance.

Continuity Over Transactions
SMCC is continuity-driven, not transaction-driven. Our process is designed to create predictable, repeatable engagement for capital providers through consistent intake standards, presentation formats, and expectation-setting. This section should emphasize repeatability and process maturity.
Economic Alignment
When SMCC works with capital partners on an ongoing basis, our role is to reduce front-end friction and risk through qualification, preparation, and alignment. Compensation is typically structured on a shared success basis that reflects this work. Do not reference percentages or detailed fee structures.
